Locked Out of My House (and My Car!)

Well, just this is the kind of day that makes you want to scream! I woke up this morning and went to grab my keys, but they weren't there. I looked everywhere, panickingly, but they were gone. And then, to top it all off, I realized I was locked out of my car too!

I stuggled the door handle, but it wouldn't budge. I even called a locksmith, but he said he was too busy. Now I'm just sitting here on the porch, feeling abandoned, with no idea what to do.

This is definitely a terrible way to start the day!

Your schedule is now completely thrown off/derailed/ruined thanks to this simple/stupid/common mishap.

Maybe you're running late for work, and now everything is a mess/disaster/nightmare. The car seems determined to remain closed, mocking your every attempt to get inside.

Locked Myself Out and The Keys are In The Car!

Man, this is awful! I was simply outside for a second and now I'm utterly stuck out. To make matters worse, my keys are still in there. I've examined all the doors but nothing is working. I'm starting to panic. What am I going to do? Should I call a roadside assistance? This is such a situation. I just want to get back inside!
